Ladybirds Class Newsletter – 29/11/2024

This week in Ladybirds Class we…

  • We worked on matching quantity to number using screws to match the dots.
  • We had lots of fun during our Christmas themed kick dance.
  • The children have noticed the weather has begun to get colder. When outside the children have been finding ice and was pleased to see a little snow fall.
  • We have decided to update our Autumn board by adding some snow, using sponges and white paint.
  • The children enjoyed this splat painting activity.
  • The children have been working on their hand-eye co ordination when tipping and pouring using the shiny water.
  • The children have been playing super hero games in the playground. To enrich their play and encourage creative thinking we decided to make a superhero soup.
  • The children was searching around the playground for natural objects to mix in.
  • We then had lots of ideas of what will happen when we pretended to drink the soup.
  • We had super powers like flying, invisible, super fast and turn into a giant.
  • We worked on our scissor skill’s using scissors to cut the spaghetti hair.
  • We drew pictures of our families.
  • We used mirrors to look at similarities and differences we have.
