Fees – For further details please contact Caterpillars Nursery School.

Termly fees are paid at the start of each term. Caterpillars Nursery School requires a term’s notice for children leaving the nursery, failure to give notice will incur a charge of a full unfunded term’s fees and loss of deposit.

Children can start attending Caterpillars for either three, four or five sessions a week, building up the number of sessions as they approach school age. The nursery takes children from the age of two years through to five years.

Admissions

All three and four year olds attending our Nursery are entitled to claim the Free Entitlement. This is paid from the term after your child’s third birthday up to a maximum of 15 hours per week. Your child is entitled to 38 weeks of free part time nursery education a year (15 hours per week).

The Government has also introduced an extra 15 hrs free entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds. This entitlement is added to the existing 15 hrs that is currently offered making a total of 30 hrs per week.

Who Is Eligible? In a two parent family both parents must work full or part time and in a one parent family the sole parent must work full or part-time. Each parent must earn at least £107.00 per week (£5,574 a year) but less than £100,000 per year.

How will parents know they are eligible? The Government has introduced the Childcare Choices Website where parents can apply for the 30 hours entitlement. Parents need to fill out an on-line application and if eligible you will be given an 11 digit eligibility code. This code must be given to the nursery and an eligibility form completed. Parents will be reminded every 3 months to reconfirm details on their application to check they are still eligible. Parents that are not eligible are still entitled to the universal 15 hours free entitlement.
