This week in Caterpillars Class we…
- We have learnt the names of planets in space and compared their colour and size.
- We enjoyed a textured planet painting activity for our space
display board. - We read the story ‘Whatever next’ and went on a trip to the moon for a picnic. We also made our own sandwiches for the picnic.
- We matched number to quantity and focused on counting out
using space rocks and asteroids. - We learnt about gravity, asteroids and what stars are.
